For over 100 years the Holcomb family has owned,cared for, and ranched on this land. Located in the extreme NW corner of South Dakota with veiws of Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota, it is a land of endless scenery and clear skies. From the open wind blown prairies to pine filled canyons, the terrain is unigue with flat open areas high above the surrounding land. Mule deer, whitetails, antelope, coyotes, turkeys, eagles, even elk and moutain lions roam throughout the area. The wildlife is as diverse as you can find anywhere. |
| This is
not a commercialized ranch, it is a working ranch, you will not find
crowds, swimming pools, or hear sirens and horns. What you will find
is a place for you to feel free again and get back to nature with more
elbow room than you can imagine. Quiet moon rises, sunsets unparalleled
and a personal freedom is yours to experience and remember forever.
In 1993, I started on my dream of owning buffalo and watching the herd grow. Now numbering over 100 head of breeding cows, I am working toward quality animals that produce great tasting, healthy meat and are desirable for breeding purposes. |
